My first attempt to build a lightbox. Basically, I cut 3 of 4 sides out of a box (sans lid) I grabbed from the copy machine area. I happened to have a large paper vellum bag, which I cut up and stapled onto the cut sides of the box. Several sheets of legal-size paper are attached inside of the box to make the white background.

Moving up: my light tent and 3 clamp-on work lights with daylight compact-fluorescent light bulbs.

A nice cold beverage of choice can be a good influence in the creative process.
