Attended the Boston Flower Show at Bayside Expo Center on 3/8/2008. A chance to get many photos of flowers, and some unexpected subjects, such as sorrowful goddesses, angels, and gargoyles. I used the 50 f/1.4 lens for the whole thing, as lighting was not that bright, and I wanted to get detail. In a number of cases, displays were roped off, and you were expected to shoot from a small distance. Due to large apertures (chosen because of low light), the depth of field is small for these, and in some cases, too small. The small depth of field does serve a great artistic purpose in a number of these photos also.
