We were in Death Valley from 4/22 to 4/26, staying in Furnace Creek Inn on 4/23, 24 and 25th. The other nights were spent at a friend's in Shoshone, a gateway town to Death Valley.
On 4/22, we were in Shoshone.
On 4/23, after departing Shoshone, we visited Ashford Mill Ruins and Badwater (lowest point in the US) and checked into our room
On 4/24, I visited Zabriskie Point for the sunrise then went over to Dante's View. Later we went to Devil's Golf Course, Golden Canyon. then went over to Stovepipe Wells for lunch, stopped in the Devil's Cornfield, and back to Furnace Creek Ranch. Finally we visited Harmony Borax Works.
On 4/25, I returned to Harmony Borax Works before dawn. Then I returned to Devil's Cornfield and went to the Stovepipe Wells sand dunes for sunrise. The winds finally died down on my way to Devil's Cornfield. Later that day we went to Scotty's Castle and then to Ubehebe Crater.
On 4/26, we visited the ghost town of Rhyolite, then checked out of Furnace Creek Inn, going back to Shoshone. A quick ride through Twenty Mule Team Canyon and Death Valley Junction to see the Amargosa Opera House and Motel capped off the trip inside of Death Valley proper.
